Greenwood Support for Women (G.S.W.) is a transitional living program in Greenwood, South Carolina, dedicated to helping women build stable, independent lives. We provide a supportive, structured home environment where women can strengthen their recovery, pursue personal goals, and prepare for their next chapter.

Our two-year program serves women who have maintained at least 12 months of continuous sobriety and have verifiable income. Through compassionate guidance, clear expectations, and shared accountability, we support each resident’s journey toward lasting stability.

Our program emphasizes financial responsibility, budgeting and saving, employment goals, daily living skills, and connections to mental health and spiritual support. We recognize that every woman’s journey is different and believe each resident deserves dignity, respect, and encouragement.

At G.S.W., our goal is for women to leave the program with greater confidence, practical skills, and a sustainable plan for independent living.

Our mission is to support women as they turn stability into lasting independence.
